What are some of the strangest voices he’s ever had to do? What was his favorite role? Many gamers are wondering what it takes to break into video game voice acting and what the lifestyle includes. We’ll examine Nolan North’s various contributions to gaming and how they have affected his career.
Famous Roles for Nolan North
There are several roles of Nolan North with which you are probably familiar. In fact, North typically provides voice acting for more than 12 games each year. Provided here are just a few:
* However tied up gamers were in Altair, Nolan North provided the voice for the descendant of this assassin – Desmond Miles in both Assassin’s Creed 1 and 2. He is expected to return for the third and likely final installment in the series.

North’s Experience with Video Games
After moving to California, North claims that he got lucky by landing his first acting role on a spin off of General Hospital called Port Charles and a video game voice role in Maximo Vs. the Army of Zin. His thoughts on how he broke into the video game voice acting industry were simply hard work and luck. According to North, he “painted houses during the day and tended bar at night until I got lucky.” He also claims that he has had some rather odd roles in the past. For example, North was asked to pretend like he was drowning and had to gargle water in the voice studio – almost throwing up in the process. Another time, he was asked to act like he was a zombie being cut from his neck down to his hips with a chainsaw.
Remarking on fears and criticisms that he will become typecast because of playing many similar roles, North claimed that he couldn’t help how he was asked to voice characters. Options are still there for Nolan North and multiple venues and he is unlikely to be used up any time soon.
